Getting Ready for Summer Madness

Yo...hope you're all well.
Just a wee entry to let you all know that the preparations are going really well for Summer Madness 06. (For those of you who don't know, SM is Ireland's biggest Christian Youth Festival.)
The band have been rehearsing like busy little bees. It's been great craic. Last night, Hambo (our guitar player) was in particularly boyant form. He was shaking his hips just like Elvis...in fact it was slightly less co-ordinated and cool than Elvis...but it was a good effort and made me smile.
We've been working hard on some new material that we'll feature in SM. There are 3 new songs that we want to get out there: Shake The Ground; Our God Is Mighty and Rescuer. We're pretty excited about them...some nice guitar parts and great drums. Our hope is that these songs will travel far beyond us to the wee churches that you get in the sticks. It would be great if you hear them to let us know what you think of them and in particular, if they are the sort of songs that your church would sing or that you would use to lead worship with. If so, GREAT...if not, let me know why.
We've been having some techy problems...My amp needs new tubes and speakers and the foot pedal is bust...so that needs fixed up. Plus I am looking at getting some new gear like a Boss EQ, some sort of digital delay and a Hot Plate. It's exciting even thinking about it. Anyone know where I can get a good deal?
Anyway need to split. Heading out for a meal with the family...need to put a shirt on!
