Hi from Brandon, Manitoba.

Since our last post we have driven 14 hours round Lake Superior stopping off in Wawa, White River and Aguasabon Gorge. We have been having a brilliant time together as a band and with the Starfield crew. We weren’t sure if Canadian steak could meet our high Northern Irish standards but we had a great meal when we arrived in Thunder Bay on Tuesday night! (ahhh, touring is hard!).

It feels like a real privilege to be part of this tour; to be here in Canada and to be meeting soo many people. We have had continuous words of encouragement and feel humbled to be able to serve the church in this way; God is being more and more gracious to us every night. It has been fantastic to be part of the Starfield team along with those working with the Billy Graham Association and Operation Christmas Child. We have had a lot of fun with these guys and are so glad that they understand and embrace the Irish sense of humour.

Our gig in Thunder Bay was fantastic and we were glad to finally receive our albums which got held up in customs. Thanks to all of you who came out to see us – we had such a great time and hope to get back to visit you soon.

We left our gig last night and hit the road for Brandon, Manitoba (a 12 hour drive). We have 2 great tour buses/vans which are pretty comfy so it has been a great wee environment to relax and have a lot of fun.

Thanks for your prayers. We feel really encouraged by this tour so far and feel really unified in our purpose as a band. We are thankful for the favour God has given us.

Hi all! Great to hear that you are in Canada. I've been to Thunder Bay before for a church camp. It's an absolutely beautiful area! I'm so excited to see how God is using JPB. Yeah for the open doors and opportunities!

Hey Johnny Parks Band! My name is Mandy MacDonald, and I just saw your show in Brandon. I wanted to chap with all of you for a bit but was with a youth group that needed to be back home early, so I felt very rude as I grabbed a couple CD's and dashed away. I want to thank you for sharing your music and your heart with us on Thursday. It was a huge encouragement to me. That night was full of genuine worship to God, and it left me craving more. Brandon does not see much of that kind of thing, and it was wonderful to see the work God did through that night.
