Urgent Prayers

Hi all

This is just a quick blog to ask you to pray for the band as we go to record soon.

Over the last while, we've felt we have come under attack just as we are getting ready and prepared to record. We feel sooo excited about this recording - it is going to be something special - and we have been experiencing some attacks recently that just seem to be an attempt to discourage and distract us.

As you may know, Nik's (our drummer) younger sister Lyndsey died recently after a battle with cancer. Obviously, Nik's family (particularly his parents Liz and Arthur) are really struggling to come to terms with this great loss. Nik has recently developed Tinitus in his ears and is having difficulty sleeping - he has been really suffering and is at the stage where he may not be able to record.

Also, my Mum (Pat) was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 weeks ago. She has already had surgery but found out today that she is going to need more and will be starting chemotherapy fairly soon. The cancer has been diagnosed as invasive and aggressive however there is a good chance of recovery. Mum is an amazing spirit - she is going back to hospital on Tuesday and is completely trusting God that He is in control - she is very calm and assured about the future.

Please pray for my family, Nik's family and the rest of the band. We want to be covered in God's protection for this next period as we create something special.
