Tomlin Tour Night 2 - Minneapolis!

Minneapolis ROCKS!

I want to live here. We had an incredible night! The people were soooo responsive and just wanted to throw themselves into worship 110%. I loved it!

The people from this state are pretty cool. For example, today at 10.30am, we were picked up by a few local folk who wanted to take us to their gym. Initially I was under the impression that we would all just go for a gentle workout until I discovered that we had our own personal pilates trainier and she (Elizabeth) is seriously ripped. Just to give you an idea of how fit she is, she casually mentioned that she is racing tomorrow in a 51k cross-country ski! MAJOR respect! Anyway...tonight I feel like I have found some muscles I never knew existed in my body. They are such a nice bunch of people who looked after us really well...thanks guys.

So - tonight was really great! Chris and the band were fantastic - really on fire. Louie spoke really well and people responded to what God was doing. It was inspiring. It feels like a real honour to be here involved in some of this stuff.

I had great fun tonight - the crowd were great and really welcomed me. We laughed a lot together! The songs went really well tonight too. I played a new one 'Rescuer' and everyone picked it up quickly and sang along. It's been really encouraging.

I am LOVING it!

I'll keep you posted about tomorrow night once we're done.

Peace,

JP

Hey - Just cheking out your site here. I attended the Minneapolis concert last night, and thought you were just incredible! You inspired me as a christian and as a musician myself. I was actually standing right behind you as you took that photo that's on your blog from minneapolis. My dad talked to you after the concert, but I was speachless! :D My favorite song of yours was "Rescuer" but it's not on i-tunes yet. Can't wait to hear it on the radio! Keep worshiping the Lord with your music, for he's doing mighty and awesome things through you. God bless.

Yo Johnny---good to meet you too last night. Thanks for allowing my friend Sara and I to "sneak" autographed copies of your cd. Talking with you was awesome and listening to you--even better.

However, Sir--I have to say something: you were not in Minneapolis last night. You were in CHICAGO...and don't you ever forget about it!

Also, my friend Chris Burke (an IT guy) lives in Belfast. If I come out there for business at some point ----can I stay with you and yours? :) I donno if that scenario would ever present itself, but if so, it'd be great to know I've got a connection in the 'hub of Europe'.

Cheers!

God bless you and your loved ones.

Thanks for a terrific night! We travelled from Saskatchewan, Canada for the opportunity to worship with Chris and Louie! It was an extreme pleasure to include you in that combination! God is truly amazing and was there on Friday night! Thanks for sharing it with us!
